Rory Hoffman

A mix of original modern country songs, old favorites and gospel greats—played with a hint of jazz improvisation—combine to create the unique performance of Rory Hoffman. Twice named CCMA Musician of the Year, in 2004 and 2005, Hoffman was also chosen to participate in the Winter Jam 2007 tour. A guitarist from age four, when he taught himself to play by holding the instrument across his lap, Hoffman branched out into drums, then others until he had mastered today’s total of fourteen different instruments. He was the 1999 Grand Champion Instrumentalist at the Estes Park Christian Artist Seminar in the Rockies, and has recorded two albums, “Blind Faith,” and “Fishin,” the last produced in South Dakota at a studio in Mobridge. Hoffman’s skill on a variety of instruments, combined with his humorous and engaging stage presence, assures that his audiences will enjoy an unforgettable experience. He is available as a soloist, in a small group setting or with a full five to seven piece band.
Technical requirements: Minimum eight channel public address system, stage monitor(s), CD player. All can be provided by artist if venue requires.
Fee structure: Performance $500 to $4,000. SDAC support up to 50%.
