Plains Folk

PlainsfolkPlains Folk is an eclectic musical group specializing in acoustic music. That would be unplugged for the MTV generation. Calling on musical influences as diverse as Alison Krauss, the Kingston Trio, old time gospel and cowboy music, these five people blend the new with the old and the obscure with the popular for a unique sound.
Instrumentation includes mandolin, 6 and 12 string guitars, classical guitar, bass, dobro and banjo supplemented with various forms of hand percussion.

The performers ages range from recent college graduates to souls whose experience is beginning to take its toll. Plains Folk are available for booking for conventions, concerts, or any kind of event that would benefit from entertainment.

Fee structure: $800-$1,000; Finger style guitar workshop - Mandolin Workshop - Harmony singing workshop

Technical Requirements: Stage and Power venue can be indoors or outdoors depending on the weather. We suggest a plan B for a venu in case of outdoor venues.
