Markie Scholz uses storytelling, puppets and her own special magic to weave a spell for audiences ranging in age from 5 to 105. One of the founders of Dragons Are Too Seldom Puppet Productions, Scholz has performed countless numbers of shows, workshops and in-services, playing for close to a million people in 40 states and five countries. Dragons Are Too Seldom Puppet Productions features seven different adaptable puppet performances, workshops, one-day residencies and four-day block bookings. Performances last 20 minutes to one hour, depending on sponsor needs. Workshops, designed for adults, children or combinations of both, are two hours. Technical requirements: Electrical access and an eight-foot rectangular table which is strong enough to sit on.
Fee structure: Performance or workshop $550 to $800, Four-day residency $3,000 to $3,500, Four-day block booking $3,000 to $3,500. SDAC support up to 50%.
